SUCCESSFUL RESULT IN DRIVING OFFENCE CASE

Earlier this month, A R Byrne & Associates' Principal Solicitor Anthony Byrne represented a client who was charged with Driving Whilst Suspended. A repeat offence which carried a maximum two-years' imprisonment, and/or fine, along with a mandatory licence disqualification period, the client certainly understood the serious nature of the alleged offence. Pleading guilty on behalf of the client at the earliest opportunity, the matter proceeded to sentence on the same day, and with carefully prepared and meticulously researched submissions, the Magistrate granted a Conditional Release Order for a period of 12-months, a great outcome which saved the client a disqualification period. The client was very satisfied, and is able to continue to drive to their university studies and night time activities.
